I am happy to have the opportunity to work with incredibly smart and extremely hard-working students, who are committed to the pursuit of excellence, and to support my students in their transition from middle school to high school and, later, to college.

Born and raised in one of the Eastern European countries, I hold my undergraduate teaching degree from a European university. As a winner of the Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship Program, I obtained a Master of Science in Continuing Education and Counseling Degree from The University of West Alabama. Over the course of my career in Europe, I taught at the school and college levels, worked as a school counselor and school administrator and co-authored textbooks and school curriculums. I also coordinated a college program at the university level in The United States and have been working as a School Counselor in high schools.

This is my third year at Suncoast. As College and Career Coordinator, I work closely with college representatives and PTSA to organize college visits, college trips and the annual College Fair. I am also involved in sponsoring the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy.

I enjoy spending time with my family, and especially with my grandson. I LOVE animals; I spend a considerable amount of my free time walking and exercising with my dog, Hazel or playing with my cat, Jello. In my free time, I can also spend hours landscaping and taking care of my flower garden.
