A North Carolina native, Stephanie Russo graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and began teaching in the Palm Beach County School District in 1996. Over the course of her 20+ career, she has taught students in grades 6-12 in various forms of English and journalism classes. Since 2003, Mrs. Russo has advised the national award-winning Renaissance yearbook at Suncoast High School. She and her staffs have received countless awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the National Scholastic Press Association and the Florida Scholastic Press Association. Her latest adventure in teaching has been advising WRSN, Suncoast's television news broadcast.
Mrs. Russo is a National Board Certified Educator as well as a Certified Journalism Educator by the Journalism Education Association. Outside of school, Mrs. Russo enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, Paul, her son, Ryan, and her beagle Daisy.
